We are one of the largest private Italian wine groups, the first to be listed on the Milan stock exchange. We produce quality wines from the best-known Italian wine-making regions, and we distribute them globally through various sales channels. With our proprietary brands we cover all of our customers’ needs in the retail sector, direct sales and the Horeca channel.

PRODUCTION
We have been producing wines for over 100 years in our wineries, collecting the raw materials from a solid network of suppliers, following strict quality protocols implemented and monitored by our group of oenologists. Our production areas go from Piedmont to Apulia, passing through Veneto and Tuscany, all the way to the large islands (Sicily and Sardinia). Our leading products include the most important Italian wines, like Barolo, Prosecco, the great Tuscan reds, and the new success stories from the South such as Primitivo di Manduria.
Each year we produce and sell approximately 60 million bottles, that reach the main markets of the whole world. Our historical production site is in the Langhe in Piedmont, in the heart of Barolo country, where we have our wine-making, aging and bottling plants. A second winery is strategically located in Apulia, in Torricella, the heart of the Primitivo di Manduria region, with a second wine-making and aging center.
QUALITY
The quality of our products and processes is certified according to internationally recognized standards (IFS, BRC, ORGANIC PRODUCTS, SGS ISO9001) and a series of acknowledgements granted by the leading European, American and Asian wine competitions, including the “Decanter World Wine Awards”, “Vinalies International Paris”, the ”International Wine Challenge”, Vinitaly’s “5 Stars Wine”, “Mundus Vini” and the “Asia Wine Trophy”.
For five consecutive years, our group has won the prize of “Best Italian Producer”, assigned by the prestigious German competition “Berliner Wein Trophy”. In the last edition, IWB took home 35 gold medals and 3 silver medals, once again being recognized as the best producer in 5,000 tastings of various wineries.
Internal quality control is entrusted to a group of highly experienced oenologists, who follow every phase of operations, inside and outside of our facilities, until delivery to the end customer.

Producing quality wine is a necessary but not sufficient condition to be valued on a growing market. In the world of wine there is no global brand that meets the needs of all market segments and different sales channels.
This is why our group invests significant resources in the creation and promotion of brands that aim to truly satisfy the needs and tastes of our customers.
Some of these brands have become true icons over time, due to their positioning and specific market share.

FOOD PRODUCTS
The value of good Italian food is recognized around the world. This is why we also offer our customers a carefully selected range of gourmet food products, coffee and extra virgin olive oil, under the Terre dei Gigli and Italian Art Café brands. In a phrase: “the experience of eating and drinking well”.
DISTRIBUTION
We distribute our products throughout the world and we are the only Italian group that has heavily diversified our activities over various sales channels.
The clients of the “wholesale” division are the main large-scale distribution chains and distributors in the Horeca channel.
The “distance selling” division, with the “Giordano” brand, distributes its wines directly to millions of private customers in Europe, through the web (we are the leading operator in Italy), mail and teleselling channels
The offer to private customers is completed with food products, Terre dei Gigli brand olive oil, and espresso coffee under the Italian Art Café brand.
